I like his game plays at good pace can’t really speed him up reminds of guard Coach Corbert had from College Park

The Young Man has a nice game. Has a nice handle and a nice floater. I'm concerned about him getting tired though. He needs Dukes to play/shoot better whenever he comes in for him.

But back to Him. This is a big accomplishment. A Great pick-up for Coach.

This Team is learning one another's game. Now as many turnovers of thinking guys are cutting ect.

i gave him my "stamp of approval" before the season even started solely based on his recruitment highlight videos. so far, the new players that i expected to have immediate impact have basically panned out. however, i missed on shell, only because i prejudged him due to his height, or lack thereof. he has since proven that he can overcome his lack of height...

But he still shoots too dinged much, and they're BAD shots at that. Reminds me of the fella I dubbed Machine Gun Kelly who's up I-40E at NCSU.

For sure he scored 30 in his last outing, but on what, 6 for 33 shooting?

I'm looking forward to seeing what conference play will hold.

I think the issue with him shooting so much is because if he doesn't score it'll VERY HARD for us to win.

Wouldn't be surprised if Coach hasn't given him the green light to shoot whenever he wants, but to take good shots. Expect there's some disagreement between him and Coach on what constitutes a good shot.

I'd like to see Shell take a few more shots & work to get the ball inside to Murphy & Thanos at hi-low. If nothing is there, I'm cool with Murphy & Thanos kicking it out to:

1)J-Rob for a 10-15 jumper
2) Shell for a J or reset
3) Dillinger for a 2 or 3
4) Shell or Left Jab's son or #10 for a J or drive to the basket with clear outs from Murphy & Thanos with EVERYONE BOXING OUT for the offensive board & easy put-back!

WE CAN DO THIS!!!

I ain't saying we will win the CAA, but I think we can manage 5-7 conference wins & a competitive 1st round conference tournament game!

"Offensively", Kam and Glasper are similar in stats. See the last link in the pinned folder "2023-24 CAA MEN'S STATS". You can toggle between years. I thought Kam was a good player for us last year, but was poorly coached. He never learned the difference between a good and bad shot and the coach did not discipline him for his poor decision. Both Glasper and Kam have/had the green light to shoot. Kam actually is better than Glasper in almost all offensive stats over an entire season. We will need to monitor how Coach Ross handles his shot selection situation compared to Coach Shumpert.

His shooting was also my concern; I only saw 1 game though. Hopefully what I saw was a bad snap shot.
