Joyner needs a meal plan and a weight room in the worst way. I dont think he will fully realize his potential here until he get significantly stronger.

#5 Evan Joyner looked pretty good. agreed, yes he did look pretty good. but thrilla makes a good point, he needs to add "a little" weight and muscle so that he won't get pushed around. but i liked his "motor" last night, he showed some promise. also, i like how coach ross used joyner in his full court (or 3 quarters court) press. with his long "wing span", joyner caused problems for the buzzards when they were bringing the ball up the court. admittedly, i luv "defense" and any player who plays hard on "defense" will win me over... |

Agree. Joyner played hard and tough in the paint and seems to know the game. I'm sure the coach will have him gaining weight and muscle in the off season. All of the players played hard. You have to give them that. The Greek young man has a nice game and was effective in the paint. If he stays, he will probably grow into a very good player. The point guard needs to work on his floor game. He as well as some of the other players need see the floor better. |
