just a heads up that i saw on my fios tv guide tonight that a&t men will be playing jackson state in men's basketball on espnu, dec. 17th at 8:30pm. i setup my dvr to record that game, hopefully we won't embarrass ourselves on national tv...

You may want to rethink taping that game. Unfortunately, we'll make Jackson State look like the Harlem Globetrotters. You may want to look for an A&T woman's game you can tape. |

lawd, ya'll are rough on our guys, even though you're probably right... Naah... it's not probably but absolutely right. IJS shoot, based on the results so far this season, yeah he's right. but i have to see for "myself" with my own eyes and i haven't done that yet except for about 10 minutes of play. when i watch our basketball games, i look for things most fans don't care about like how was our "ball handling"? how well did we "defend"? how difficult did we make our opponent's shot attempts? are our "fundamentals" sound? do we play as a "cohesive" group? is our team "well coached"? are our guys "motivated"? those are just a few of the things i look for when watching our basketball games, but there's even more. i already know that this season is a "wrap", but i wanna know how promising our young players are for the "future". that's my primary interest in watching us play. the thing i like about recording our games on my dvr is that i can replay, pause, and watch in "slow motion" aspects of the game that i really wanna get a close look at. and the best thing about recording our games is that i get to watch it whenever i have time to watch it cuz often my referee schedule conflicts with our mbb and wbb games. after i watch this game very closely and zoom in on the "specifics" with a fine tooth comb, i'll have a better understanding of what lies ahead for our future... |
