Teams with more talent ( maybe a deeper bench or depth chart in football), size, and/or strength wears down a good team over time resulting in a loss. The Lakers were okay with teams hanging around 3 quarters at their fast pace tempo. What they were counting on was that their opponent's starters were either not in better condition than them or the opponents did not have a deeper bench so that in the 4th quarter they pull away. Losing to these larger OOC opponents will help us when when CAA play starts because we are showing that we are very tough and not that far off in beating a lot of these bigger teams. I won't be too quick to say that we were out coached and have a problem.

We drop two games that were very winnable. We were unable to take care of the ball.These are the games we need if you want a higher than 16th seed in the tournament.I am sure coach will emphasize areas needed for improvement.

I think these last few games are why we were picked 8th in the CAA. We cannot consistently beat teams that are beatable.
