It would be interesting to see how many total travel miles this away schedule will require compared to last season. It’s much less. It’s a 12 hour drive from Greensboro to Rhode Island… Longest away game this season is 8 hours to Philly… Then the FBS game is less of a drive this season. Now that's good for the program and the fans...5 at home and 3 in the state...you can't beat that.

Lot of Blue and Gold on the road this year for sure... excited about Central and Campbell in particular given I live in Raleigh.

Good schedule. I wonder when SCSU will have the return game for A&T. It might be good that we get Delaware early

This is one of the best football schedules we've had since we left the CIAA! (LOL) If the team doesn't suck, I'll only miss two away games. (Villanova and Towson) If we get some talent and an Offensive Coordinator that can capitalize on that talent, we "could" win 5 games.

Hopefully the schedule release can act as a good recruiting selling point for transfers (particularly FBS ones), looking to play a competitive schedule within a specific region

Exact Distance of travel for road opponents (Aggie Stadium to Opponent Stadium):
Wake Forest - 41mins
NCCU - 1hr
SC State - 3hr 26mins
Richmond - 3hr 28mins
Campbell - 1hr 30mins
Villanova - 7hrs 22mins
Towson - 6hr 16mins
For the Maryland & Philly area Aggies: y'all have fun with those last 2 because I'm assuming it'll be quite chilly up there come late November lmao

I didn't even think about how close the out of state games are. This is an awesome schedule...You wanna support the team at home you got 5 games on campus. You wanna travel out of state, we got you covered. You wanna travel in state you got instate OOC and in conference games at our door steps. You want HBCUs, we got wssu, nccu, Hampton, and SCSU on the schedule.

Nvm - its Hampton - Will be nice to play a HBCU for Homecoming It's this right here. I know ticket sales don't drive athletic revenue. However, wouldn't the fiscally responsible decision have been to play W&M for GHOE, which will sell out even if we play Eastern Alamance HS and play Hampton as a regular season home conference game. All last year everyone complained because they didn't recognize some of our home opponents and knew they weren't an HBCU and thusly didn't show up. Why not play Hampton which most remember from the MEAC days. I know HU doesn't travel (but that's another story which I won't rehash here) but there away games include Towson and UAlbany, I would suspect if they were to travel they would choose Greensboro over the other 2. I also would assume the folks that still miss the MEAC and band heads would be more apt to come out to Truist for A&T/HU over A&T/Rhode Island. IJS We have a better chance of beating Hampton on GHOE than beating W&M.... financially responsible or not
