With technology, this is a very “right now, today” oriented world.
With this bit of news, right now, today it looks very bad on the coaching staff’s part that Hooker didn’t get a shot. Even if they place all the blame on the departed OC, he should’ve been overruled far before the final game of the season.
I’m curious as to what the interest is based on. We didn’t allow him to produce much tape at all. Bloodlines and potential maybe.

If a walk-on can transfer up AND leave with a degree, that’s. A win despite the coaching malpractice.
But unfortunately, they aren’t clear-cut offers. Our other QBs got D2 offers out the portal. Not good in this new environment. I want to see our best players in the portal move up, not lateral or down.

It's amazing that when I first bought up why Hooker wasn't receiving any playing time an advocating that he should be given a shot. All I got was criticism that the young man was not good enough, and excuses, but mostly crickets from everybody. But now all of a sudden Hooker is a conversation to be had . You gentlemen are amazing, you really are 😆 🤣 😂.
It doesn't matter what level that any one of those guys play at, the point is they're getting the opportunity to play the sport that they love LHM 😆 🤣 😂

i tried to tell folk that hooker is a very good qb. been saying it for more than 2 years. how da hail our coaching staff let this dude sit the bench all season long is beyond me, smdh... This is going to be this coaching staff downfall; obviously they can’t evaluate talent. Maybe I’m wrong; but time will surely tell. as much as i respect hooker's game, i personally would not advise him to go to colorado or memphis unless the coach assures him in advance that he'd get plenty of playing time. if i'm hooker, i'd consider fcs options more than fbs options because he stands a better chance of starting or getting on the football field at the fcs level...

We wasted a very talented QB room. agreed. though i'm not a big fan of yeager, the other three qb's (brick, hooker, kj) were excellent qb prospects. thing is, coach wash brought in all 4 of those guys and was poised for long term qb "stability". now 3 of 'em are bouncing and the last man standing is kj. i pray that kj stays put. "physically", i believe that kj was the most gifted qb on our roster. but "mentally", hooker was the best. brickhandler was also very talented, just needed more "grooming". the great thing about brick, hooker, and kj is that all 3 were legit running threats which makes them harder to defend. it hurts to see all of that talent "bounce" on us. quality qb's don't grow on trees and they're difficult to sign because the whole world normally recruits them...

Did not see the talent in these qb's that OSA is expounding on.
