I hope I'm wrong. I know how you feel! I'm an optimist by heart and I want to believe that we have one really great game in us this season. Campbell did not have a good game at all against Delaware last Saturday, and with the way that we competed with the Blue Hens and with our offensive improvements over the past few game, I'd like to think that we can knock off Campbell this weekend.
My major concern is that I don't know where we are defensively anymore. Their QB (Williams) can be a problem. He's a senior with 17 TD passes this season. He's mobile, but seemingly not a "running QB," according to his recent stats. Hopefully, we can contain his passing game and come out with another win.

I hope I'm wrong. I haven’t said this in a while but I think we can, especially if we have Turner back and the kind of leadership he brings with him. Does anybody know if he’s playing?

Campbell's QB is and outstanding running the ball but he only runs when he needs to . Williams is a true dual threat quarterback a more experienced version of Eli and white surrounded by a lot of FBS portal transfers . I to believe that if we can put all the pieces together for this one last game we should come out with the win . But we can't get in a shoot out .

We gave up over 200 yards rushing to RI running back. Ain't hard to figure out what to expect from Campbell?

He built that program from the ground up. Mike Minter was getting looks from FBS programs last year… Folks gotta understand that he is beloved in NC…and Campbell isn’t going to remove him…

Coach Brown should be evaluating all coaches jobs to see for best fit for next season. Some may get promoted, while others maybe fired or demoted. Additionally, if we did not fill any important positions (not sure if we ever filled the strength and conditioning position or nutritionist position) then we need to work on that as well.
Also, A&T needs to get out of this slow drip mentality when making decisions. It costs us later in picking good eligible candidates for coaches and staff because they had already been scooped up. A secondary effect is that when you are late in establishing your new staff, then you are late on putting your best foot forward in recruiting the best players. Then the excuses come in on the staff did not have time to fully recruit due to the changes or we got rid of the coach that was the main contact for a particular position or players. All schools have to deal with these same issues since coaches are let go all the time in this business. Let's not be late to the dance.
Lastly, this slow drip mentality also applies to effectively communicating to the players about your future plan, especially those that maybe considering transfer. I would be talking with these players this week if you have not already been talking with them. You know some of these players have already decided they are reaching out to other schools as soon as the last game is over. What happened last season for football and basketball should never happen again by A&T Admin/AD/Coaches. Get out in front of the problem and communicate to these players before they jump ship. A 1-10 or 2-9 season is not the time to follow the normal procedure or course.

i'm really nervous about our upcoming offseason. hopefully we won't lose any "key players" to the portal, i'm very nervous about that given the season we've just encountered.
the coaching staff really has their work cutout for them this offseason, both in retaining players and "signing" new players...
