I would have probably picked us last as well with all the changes. As long as the coaches and players don't believe or ignore the poll, I am good. Just go and ball out and gain your respect. That goes for both men and women Bballers. I personally will not give a prediction on how well the men's team will perform until maybe right before conference play. I need to see quite a few games to evaluate the coach's game strategy and player's talent.

WCA not going to happen and I don't act off emotions ( according to my wife 😆 I'm to literal according to her and never act off emotions 😆 ) I deal with Fact . 1. It is one game at a time 2. Polls don't matter because Polls change as the reason progresses 3. I think that all games are winnable going in, if you prepare, execute, make adjustments and play to your strengths and there weaknesses. Those are just everyday simple FACTS not only in athletics but in life . Give them a try 😆 SMIB RESPECT. Hence the message in the op. LMAO! BTW: It's all facetiousness. Don't take it too seriously. I don't take it seriously at all . I just do me careless about what others do . |

Note for Saabman and others that may fit this shoe: We know you don't care about preseason polls. This thread ain't for you! There's no need to post about your feelings on this or how "they don't matter" or "One game at a time" or whatever... This is only for those that may feel slighted or those that feel this is pretty accurate. Sounds about right to me. Our men's basketball team's recent body of work hasn't been that good lately. We got a brand-new coach (with a questionable coaching record) and a bunch of new players. Sounds like just the right formula for coming up dead last in this conference or any other conference. |

We're not built like that. It will come down to how good or bad we look. I suspect most criticism will wrap back around to how he chose to build this roster. That's fair in my opinion. |
