Sigh... The board just approved $10 million in facility improvements. We are still a state school. We don't have unlimited funds. Before the podcast tonight, please review the timelines for athletic facility upgrades. The items listed above are on the scheduled timeline and the $2.2 million for the football locker rooms is ahead of schedule. linkAnd the board will be discussing War Memorial on Friday as well. It's showing $8 million in renovations link

File this under 'I need to see the construction trucks on site to believe it.'
They've literally been telling us about renovations coming to War Memorial stadium for years.

Talking about it and appropriating the money are two different things. Those are line items now.

They announced money was already appropriated last year. There have been powerpoints and everything.

i remember a power point slide that depicted that we'd begin construction on an aggie stadium renovation on sullivan street projected to break ground in 2020. that's how much power point slides mean at this juncture at a&t. most aggies done forgot about that promised renovation. i guess that's why coach brown put his office renovation in his contract...

Your endless patience has given them the necessary time decade to finally make it happen. I'm patient beacause i understand how funding works in the university system because I sit on a board of Trustees for a community College. Things that should take 6 months end up taking years for various reasons. Espically when u don't have a donor base to pay for things. It's a reason why A&T takes forever and High Point University can get things done overnight.
