Lol he ain't the answer either. I like him and a great story but do u really think he's the answer for T at QB So you think the other two are?Why not Hooker ,unless we have another scholarship quarterback QB hiding some where on campus because HOOKER has not played . Why not give the kid a shot . We have seen what the other 3 have done Why not HOOKER he may not be the answer but he surely cannot be as bad as the first three. Hooker has poise and confidence and he understands the short passing game and his limitations. Sometimes the most talented player is not a leader or the right player to lead an offense. Hooker has that "IT FACTOR " he may not be an NFL caliber player but he can be a good college player if given the chance. When a player knows his limitations the game comes easy to him because he is not prone to make a mistake he just plays within himself and the system. That is not what I am seeing from these first three quarterbacks. I told you guys the same thing last season when everybody was dumping and dropping salt on Fowler and I'm telling you the same thing now Hooker is our best option at the control of this team . I didn't see any of that from Hooker last season. I think White is our best option. He threw a couple good balls at UAB. I honestly think yall love Hooker because of his dad and brother. That magic they have is gonna rub off on him somehow I guess. But hell give him a shot , can't be no worse than what we already have seen

White had one pass attempt against UAB, which was incomplete but drew a pass interference call. He was sacked two times. I love the kid's potential but there was nothing he showed in that game that would make you believe he is our best option.

Brickhandler had receivers drop two passes that would have kept drives going vs UAB. Bricks, biggest issue is he needs to learn to throw the ball away.

I have been the one that continued to pushing for Hooker to get a shot ,so where does this yall come from ? All I have been saying is ,If you have a team roster/ depth chart it should be used for situations like this and no one or option should be overlooked in finding a solution. Just give the youngman a chance to prove himself and if he fails hell you already know that he is not worthy, so what do we have to lose . But if he preforms the way that I feel he can . He may just get use through the season not looking like the bad Pop Warner team that we are seeing now . Coach Brown is on the clock

We have been beating Elon for years. They feel a way about us. They snapped a 4 game losing streak Plus they have kids from Greensboro, Charlotte, Winston and Raleigh…both schools have players that know each other. Right. This pod thing in the CAA with Campbell and Elon and plus NCCU is now 3 rivalry type games that our team and fans wi have to get up for

I am sorry, but A&T just was not an attractive option for a lot of high school recruits and transfers due to the uncertainty of football program last spring. Are we more attractive right now? We still have a lot of work to do, but the season is still young. Let's hope and pray that we can do better. Top high school football recruits are out here making official visits to colleges every week, therefore, Coach Brown and staff should be hosting recruits every home game. The product on the field is not good right now, so I hope he is good at selling his future vision of the football program and the benefits of attending A&T over other schools. Transfers will be targeted later when the portal opens up again.

CAA Football Co-Special Teams Player of the Week Kyle Romenick, Jr., P, Elon (Fort Mill, S.C./Fort Mill)
Romenick averaged 42.2 yards on five punts and threw the first touchdown pass by an Elon punter in its Division I era as the Phoenix defeated North Carolina A&T, 27-3. The junior hit DJ Hamilton with a 35-yard TD pass on a fake punt to help seal the victory early in the fourth quarter. He booted a 57-yard punt and dropped another inside the 20-yard line.
