Hooker was on the sidelines and dressed. He usually has headsets on but Brickhandler had them on Saturday but Hooker was next to him

Coach Brown knows what needs to be fix (more athletic players, players execution, discipline, replace staff, himself, or a combination of the list). The questions that need answering are can/will he fix these things now or later, or does he know how to fix them? Answers to these questions depends on next year recruiting; what are coach options when he looks past the starters; who is out there to hire if staff problem; and lastly if he is the problem can he become better through the course of the season.
We are so emotionally disappointed with the play of the team and coaching, that some of us are concluding that Coach Brown needs our help in figuring out what is wrong with the team when a blind man can see what's wrong. Coming up with solutions that work is where he has failed thus far for me and I don't know if he has an answer because the fix may have to wait until after the season ends.

I don't know if he has an answer because the fix may have to wait until after the season ends. It didn't have to. He decided not to use the portal to get experience at QB or size at DL. He had the opportunity.

He had the opportunity. You need agreement from both sides (tranfer player and coach) to close the deal. I am sorry, but A&T just was not an attractive option for a lot of high school recruits and transfers due to the uncertainty of football program last spring. Coach Brown may not have had many options. Right now I am taking a neutral position on whether Coach Brown is the right man to take us to greater heights.

I am sure he Coach Brown was extremely active on the portal trying to sign def lineman just because they are in the portal does not mean we offer and they come.
I am suprised none of his players from William & Mary followed him to Gboro he was the Def Coord and would have recruited the defensive players.
I do think it was a mistake to not convert some of our offense lineman to defensive line We have between 14-17 o-lineman and I am sure most of them played some defense in high school. We had guys on the DL last night that are like 230…Linebackers trying to be defensive lineman

William & Mary is an established program that advanced in the playoffs last year.
Why leave that team and getting a W&M degree to rebuild a program here?

when coach broadway took over coach lee's team which was "less talented" than this year's team, we did not see a lack of effort. ya'll may not like it, but this is on coach brown. nobody is expecting "world beaters" this season, but everybody has the right to expect a team that looks like they know and care about what da hail they're doing. thanks dr. martin, you picked a good one... Sent from my SM-G950U using proboards Martin technically picked Sam Washington too he certainly did and it was a good hire...

Again I ask "Where is HOOKER " and why come no one is talking about his absence . Is he dressing for games or is kicked off the team ? Where are the insiders that know all A&T football. Why are you being crickets when it comes to HOOKER 😆 Lol he ain't the answer either. I like him and a great story but do u really think he's the answer for T at QB hooker can't do any worse than what we've seen from brick, yeager, or white so far. plus, hooker has more "experience" than brick and white, and hooker doesn't get "rattled". his demeanor when in the game has "confidence" written all over it. i don't think he's getting a fair shot because he's not on full scholarship. but i swear, i would've put hooker in the game long before putting yeager in the game. i've felt all along that the starting job should've been between brick and hooker while bringing white along with a few snaps to give him some experience. for me, this is not about hooker being a good story. i like his "body language" when he's in the game, he looks as if he's very comfortable being under center and running the offense, looks extremely "confident" when he's in the game and doesn't get "rattled". i would've went straight to hooker rather than yeager when brick got snatched out of the game...

I like him and a great story but do u really think he's the answer for T at QB So you think the other two are?Why not Hooker ,unless we have another scholarship quarterback QB hiding some where on campus because HOOKER has not played . Why not give the kid a shot . We have seen what the other 3 have done Why not HOOKER he may not be the answer but he surely cannot be as bad as the first three. Hooker has poise and confidence and he understands the short passing game and his limitations. Sometimes the most talented player is not a leader or the right player to lead an offense. Hooker has that "IT FACTOR " he may not be an NFL caliber player but he can be a good college player if given the chance. When a player knows his limitations the game comes easy to him because he is not prone to make a mistake he just plays within himself and the system. That is not what I am seeing from these first three quarterbacks. I told you guys the same thing last season when everybody was dumping and dropping salt on Fowler and I'm telling you the same thing now Hooker is our best option at the control of this team .

not to mention, other than maybe white, hooker is faster and a better "runner" than brick or yeager. he has "swag" and not because of his last name. ya want somebody who can motivate his teammates, i think hooker can do that.
i seen this guy stand tall "in the pocket" last season, "knowing" that a blitzing lb was gonna smash him immediately after he releases the pass and that's exactly what happened. yet, hooker "accurately" completed that pass and then quickly hopped up off the ground as if to say to the defense, "you can't intimidate me". to me, that's leading by example and most o-linemen appreciate a qb who does that. that motivates his o-linemen not to let him down anymore, makes them wanna play hard for the guy...

I just wished they would’ve hired an offensive minded coach. I want someone that has a big playbook. It took us forever to get some coaches. Excuses it was too late is not good. If Coach Brown is as good as we think then players and coaches would follow him.
We can blame the Board, AD, and the Chancellor for this disaster. We should’ve stayed in the Big South. I know most people don’t want to hear this but it is true. We as an university nor sports are ready for the CAA.

Yes and no . Yes it can attract talent that see the opportunity to play right away both high school and TP talent and no some players do not want to be a part of a losing or rebuilding program . It all depends on the individual preference . The season is still young, done give up so easily 😆🤣😂
