I may have to rock a rain suit outright. Are they calling for showers at night? Will it be Dawgs and Birds in the mud? Weather man said showers on and off in the afternoon 60% coverage meaning we have a good high chance that we will get rain upon

As was the BCU game before it Oh man that Bethune game weather was horrible . It was freezing , and I don’t even think it was that cold but it was the wind that made it feel like “why the heck did I come”….

Wet weather is a Offenses best friend. Especially for the Running and Passing game . As long as we take what is given, set plays up and execute, control the clock in the passing & run game, and move the ball down the field. The rest will play-out on it's own ..

Wet weather is a Offenses best friend. Especially for the Running and Passing game . Wet weather is not good for a passing game. We had a hard time throwing the ball accurately and catching passes when it is bone dry last week at UAB. Our passing game will not suddenly benefit if there is a rain storm Saturday night.

So I guess we are not as talented as you and others think at the QB and Receivers positions, so it wasn't the play calling of the OC after all . And YES our passing game can "suddenly benefit if there is a rain storm Saturday night " because I feel that the talent at qb and Receiver is their on the team. So we will see what we . As a good friend I played with in Germany would say " skill position players are like the Postal Service, They must Deliver, Rain Sleet or Snow "

But how does rain itself benefit a passing attack? That doesn't make any sense.

But how does rain itself benefit a passing attack? That doesn't make any sense. I guess it's because we know where the ball is supposed to go in the passing game. If you're also slipping and sliding on defense, you're not going to be as sharp as you should be breaking on the ball in the air, allowing for a little more space for receivers to catch the ball. Now, they have to catch the ball, which is harder when it's wet.

Ask any quarterback or wide receiver if they prefer to play in a rain storm or when its dry, and see what they tell you.
