Agreed...answered every question...talked about the disappointment of last week, accountability and what we have to do to win this week. Strong leadership...

Graves (RB), has that Cartwright in Him. I can see Him getting the rock in the 4 Qtr and DB's are seeing a Truck coming.

So from the presser:
- Caldwell and Warren are expected back this week. - K. Sharpe - Coach is awaiting a dr report before determining his status (IMHO: He's out this week)

When it comes to Warren; Warren is the slot receiver that stirs the drink in our passing game.
One thing that I noticed is that oftentimes, when the play broke down, Fowler often looked to Warren as a safety valve. This year, I expect Warren to be that go-to possession receiver. I hope we begin looking at Christian and Dobson as those safety valves along with Warren. That SHOULD help our passing game compile more than 100 yards passing.

Fowler has gone and so far, we have not found one QB that could hit the broad-side of a barn passing. We need go-to receivers, but we also need a darn QB that doesn't skip short passes off the grown or throw picks directly to our opponents.

It was to simply point out how Warren was used and how vital he is to our passing game. He was a key cog last year and when he went down late last season, our offense lost some of its mojo. My hope is that Warren returns and develops the same type of safety-net Our QBs need so they aren't looking like Deer caught in headlights and teams won't go 8 or 9 in the box against us.

It's always good to hear from the players to access how they think things went. Kenji stated the holes were there, and they just needed to improve on their footwork. Cole stated he loves the new defense and his role in the defense as "joker". The morale is still high which good indicator that it's not all doom and gloom like most posters believe. The players are accountable and know they must execute and limit mistakes. They are being coached correctly.
