Yeah, I like the idea of a call-in show after the game. It would build some excitement for sure. But....we would need a fresh host for sure.

I've got a a question: since we own our own radio station, has there ever been any thought into putting together a one hour post-game show after every A&T football broadcast? They can get a few post-game interviews from Fobbs and a few players and maybe field a few phone calls from irate fans. I mean, really, how difficult would that be? It's not like that time slot has already been reserved by some sponsor. Why do we always have to rush off the air five minutes after the final whistle just because the "The Jazz Zone" or "The Blues Hour" or "Saturday night bible fest" is coming on? Is there anybody who we can contact about improving the station's sports programming? This is really starting to tick me off. Agree, 100% I'd think you would need to contact Mr. Welborne, Station Director, with your suggestion. I agree 100% btw. we don't have a t.v. coach's show we might as well have better radio coverage.

I wonder if that was sent in as a suggestion to the AD if she would work on it with Welborne. There are many things that could be done to improve PR. If we've been doing the same things the same way for the past 10-15yrs then we're not progressive.

It is also vollyball season. I think COVINGTON WANTED TO FIND A SPOT TO FEATURE THEM. I guess the bye week seened like the best time. When would be better or should you just not give the women any air time at all? Apparently swimming season starts in October. There should be a press conference every week ...but the history has been no PC during a bye week if I am not mistaken. like it or not the women will win more than the men this season across the board.

Billy does not work for A&T sports information. His job is not to try and provide equal coverage for all A&T athletic programs. He should be concerned with putting together a show that the majority of folks have interest in. I don't think anyone on this board was tuning in Thursday to hear about swimming.

He does not provide equal coverage...If you think having vollyball and swimming on one time a year is equal to that give the big thre well...but since the radio station is NCA&T HE DOES PROVIDE SOME COVERAGE. ...THUS HE PUT TWO SPORTS THAT MOST HAVE NO INTEREST IN ON THE SAME DAY...

This is a "make or break" week for Billy Covington. If he delivers another crappy show today, I will personally start a on-line petition to get his azz replaced.
He needs to do some research beforehand and ask his guest (hopefully Fobbs) some serious questions. I want facts and figures. Tell me something that I might can't already find in the media guide.
