got kinda bored since there's not a lot of aggie athletic events going on. but decided to have a little fun due to a conversation i was having with a friend regarding damon wayans on in living color back in the day explaining that black slang is "ever evolving and constantly changes". meaning, we use words sometimes that only last temporarily and then create new ones. for example, in the mid to late 70's, we used to call parties a "jam" but we don't use that word no more.
other words or phrases that we don't use no more are "jive turkey", "solid", "better recognize", "word?", and "soul brother". can ya'll think of any others?
