Hayles. And Chambers failed to make the Jamaican national team in the 400 . They ran 45.82 and 46.06 . Paula Salmon ran a 13.22 to finish 7th and also failed to make the team National teams are hard to make especially in countries who's National identifier sport is track and field/ cross country, endurance racing.

Agree , national teams are hard to make but if either had matched their time from the NCAAs they would be on the team.

Agree , national teams are hard to make but if either had matched their time from the NCAAs they would be on the team. True but the difference is Consistent Times and PR times. At the Nationals level it's a 50-50 roll of the dice 🎲🤣 . Because Consistent Times are usually push over the limit and PR can come out of know where 😆🤣😂 . That what I love about Track and Field the obvious is never guaranteed. Because he may not have made the American team once you throw in all the professionals in the mix .
