She may not get drafted but she will get a serious look if not from the WNBA but some overseas team. i don't see her getting a serious look from the wnba. its extremely difficult to make a wnba active roster, more difficult than it is for guys to make an nba roster. the wnba has far "fewer" teams, thus far fewer available "jobs" than the nba. jazmine "definitely" can play pro ball overseas, but i don't see her making the wnba... Didn't say she would make a WNBA team. But she will get a Look/Tryout. Just like the young lady from Jackson State did .

If I am understanding the Ladyaggies twitter page correctly, Sean-Kelly Darks is returning to the team for the 23/24 season. This will be a big help at the PG position.I thought that Dorsey took a major step forward this past season and this should give us some solid experience depth at guard with Dorsey, Bracone and Darks.

Jaleesa Sams joined Longwood women's basketball's coaching staff as an Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator in the summer of 2023. Sams comes to Farmville after spending a total of sixteen years at her alma mater of North Carolina A&T University. She was apart of three-straight regular season conference titles as a player (2007-10) and joined the staff as a graduate assistant following her graduation in 2011. Sams would then go on to serve as the director of basketball operations for two seasons before being elevated to assistant coach in 2016. “Jaleesa is a great recruiter and is passionate about building relationships,” said Lang-Montgomery. “She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of winning championships to our program.” ——————————— I’m glad she is going outside her comfort zone

Someone push Laila Acox to come back with a stronger mid-range jumper, and right hand and left hand floater. (taking away all the charge calls). As for Tucker, a touch more weight, a improved jump stop jumper, and a confident 3 ball.
Coach Rob. Let them Free-style more, when we need a truly quick bucket, and jumping into our defense. Rather than them looking at the bench, receiving a play, getting into position, and running it. Overall a good job in figuring out the League.

She helped us, learned from one of The Best, and now it is Her time to shine. IDK about Longwood's WBB team but the Men were good.

very proud of jaleesa, one of my all time favorite lady aggies. i suspect that she's getting an increased salary and increased responsibilities at longwood. who knows, maybe she'll find her way back to aggieland years down the road as a head coach like coach rob did, "if" and when coach rob throws in the towel....

Yeah, Ashuntee won’t be back, & Nina graduated & has eligibility but if I’m not mistaken she’s not playing CBB anymore

Acox, while I like her aggressiveness , needs to slow down and play more within her self (not bulling thru people). Also would like to see Clark develope a stronger inside game.
While it is early July, summer school is getting ready to start along with practice and conditioning and it appears we are down 3-4 staff positions which to me is concerning.I am sure Coach s working on it but it is hard to find good people.
