With the conclusion of our 22/23 season, as usual, we look ahead to the coming year with great anticipation. Thought it would interesting to look at the potential 23/24 roster based on current information.
Laila Acox F 6-0 Ashuntee Weems G 5-10 Taliya Council F 6-0 Tamyra Council F 6-0 D'Mya Tucker G 5-11 Levossie Taylor F 5-11 Nina Worthey F 6-1 Talia Davis F 6-0 Jordyn Dorsey G 5-9 Nahndi Smith G 5-6 Maleia Bracone G 5-10 Keona Curtis F 6-1 Chaniya Clark C 6-4 Mia Hardin C 6-4 Paris Locke F 6-0 Jakieya Thompson G 5-7
After watching the CAA this year, I think the ladies had a solid season, competitive all year, a little disappointing at the end.I think it would be great if we can get a minimum three post players with length (6-2 & up) agility that are rim protectors and can score the ball along with at least three guards with handles that shoot at least 35% or better from distance. That would be nice. I know as always there will plenty of changes to come. Looking forward to the upcoming season.

Worthy has not played in 3 years. She participated in senior day. I doubt that she will be a part of the team next season. Of course that is just my guess.

Watching Paris Locke play to day. She's having a good game here in FT Meyers at the High School Nationals Semifinals for McDonogh High . They only have 7 players .

i think our ladies would've performed much better at the end of the season had arguably our most valuable player (jazmine harris) not gotten injured. i'm waaaaay beyond satisfied with the performance of our ladies this past season. all season long they were in contention to win the regular season championship and held down 1st place in the conference for several weeks during the season. before the season started i don't think anybody, including me, expected our ladies to perform so well in the new conference this season...

I knew that all of A&T's sports would be competitive in the CAA. But in saying that, they exceeded my expectations . Let's hope the trajectory continues SMIB RESPECT.

Yeah. Jazmin's injury was a big deal and I was pleasantly surprised.

Jazmin is putting herself out there for the WNBA draft. Hopefully, she will get drafted.

She may not get drafted but she will get a serious look if not from the WNBA but some overseas team.

She may not get drafted but she will get a serious look if not from the WNBA but some overseas team. i don't see her getting a serious look from the wnba. its extremely difficult to make a wnba active roster, more difficult than it is for guys to make an nba roster. the wnba has far "fewer" teams, thus far fewer available "jobs" than the nba. jazmine "definitely" can play pro ball overseas, but i don't see her making the wnba...
