I'm really concerned what life looks like when generations of people have not belonged to a religious community. I imagine community norms will be gone.

Religious Deity and affiliation has been the cause of most of the Worlds problems over time .
I don't do Religious affiliation but I do believe in Faith.
It maybe a good thing that prevents people from becoming HOODWINK and Brainwashed in what ever is the face of there Religious preference . Faith has no color or so-called designated representative that speaks for it .

When we start getting a generation whose grandparents haven't been inside a mosque, temple, or church civilization will be on the steep decline.

This is outdated news, but I want to point out that "belonged to a church" doesn't mean squat. Hell, I belong to a church but haven't attended in years...but I still tell people I'm a member. I don't think there's any correlation between declining church affiliation and morality. Hell, a lot of the folks shouting in church on Sunday are in the streets raising hell on Monday.

I hope you are right. But I don't think morality occurs naturally. We will see how humanity moves forward.

Steeper then what we are on now. With them already in there houses of worship that are politically involved and in some cases tainted to one side of the other and Not teaching Faith but political Brainwashed views .
