EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (Feb. 14, 2023) – The North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University Board of Trustees will hold in-person committee and full board meetings Feb. 16-17.
Meetings will be held at the Alumni-Foundation Event Center, 200 N. Benbow Road, Greensboro.

I'm still puzzled as to why the new convocation center is going there in the first place. The band center will occupy the location and will have to be demolished to make room for it. this means the university is gonna renovate the building for the band, then tear it down in less than a decade with no plans to house the band somewhere else??? somebody make it make sense lol

I think that location is more accessible for non-University revenue events.

I think the premise is to create athletic hub of sorts with the stadium and the basketball arena next to each other along with the athletic offices.

There is mention of where the band will go, in Phase 2 number 16 is the new performing arts center. That would be on the corner of Dudley and Lindsey.
