Georgia & 757 Agricultural & Technical State University. In-state (NC) football prospects need not apply. Historically GA and 757 have been great pipelines for many football programs. including a&t!!

Hoping we can still get a few good pieces from transfer portal, especially at DT.

I'm not mad at this at all. I want the best players wherever they come from. The portal has opened doors to high school kids all over. Like it’s literally common knowledge that every CFB roster is a vast majority in-state, and then the next highest number of guys come from border states. That’s exactly what A&T’s roster is comprised of, just like every other roster in America. They don’t get an abnormal amount of out-of-state recruits in the slighest. Actually the only school in spitting distance of NC that DOES, is Charlotte (whose only had a football program for 10 mins anyway).

Y’all I need help understanding this. We got 5 recruits w no coach at all. We got 7 with one, none rated far as I can tell, and we only fought d2 schools to get ones we got. Everyone is happy so I’m not trying to be Debbie downer but I’m not excited at all. Am I missing something? Are we happy because it could’ve been worse because we just got a coach or are we happy because we legitimately think this is a good class. I think we should have kept the mykrinos dude. If they could get 5 people to sign during mass exodus and no coach imagine what they could have done w a coach Definitely very little to no "star rating" excitement. We'll see how it goes. I tend to agree with most of this. Not what I'd call a great class but perhaps the best we could do with the late coaching changes. I think we had something like 72 freshmen and sophomores on last seasons roster so perhaps we didn't need a high star rated class? Overall I give it a C+ at this point.

I’ll take solid coaching, training, and preparation to stars any day. JSU and Campbell had the plenty of stars in their classes last year, but how did that turn out for them on the field. I would be very concerned if we saw lots of transfers with huge classes like some of these other schools. Our new coach reviewed the team and found the “core” he needed is there. So now, he is now filling immediate needs all while planning for the future. That is a sign of a solid program.
