I look as this season in T&F and Basketball this way . A&T did not over achieved. A&T Served Notice that we are to be reckoned with in T&F , Volleyball and Basketball and that the Talent is there although it is depleted..i.e lose of season ending injuries in basketball and the defection of numerous track athletes and graduation of Volleyball Talent, but we still stood tall and competed on par with the CAA's top athletes and programs . My take is the CAA programs thinking the same things that I'm stating. A&T is coming for us and we better be prepared because A&T is preparing to make history and prove the naysayers wrong in a short period of time. With saying that I'm hoping 🙏 that Baseball, Football and the others sports follow suit. We just need to strategically and sensibly add the right pieces . Which I hope is happening in the background. Did we get a trophy for our 3rd place finish? I don't know how or if they do that anymore . Back in the day the top 3 teams would recognized with the trophy going to the first place team and plaques are awarded to the runner-ups. Most likely they're still doing it that way . |

I have not seen a 3rd place trophy awarded at the post meet ceremonies

Don't know about 3rd place plaques but at the MEAC and BS the second place team took photos.

Time for Outdoor Track Championships at W&M tomorrow. It will be interesting to see who participates beyond the studs ( Hayles, Chambers, Hodgest and , Alexander,) . On the Womens side Gray, Salmon, Scott , and the 2 800 runners. Think we only have one in top 10 in 100m male or female
