Still doing pretty good on day 2. We need some help in the 60M and men's 800M. Also, the team needs to go after some people for the pole vault and combined events.

Not bad considering the hit the program took. However, We definitely have to turbo charge recruiting. We need to become competitive in a few more events.

anything other than a conference championship just doesn't feel right. admittedly, i've been "spoiled" by our recent past success. it sucks not winning it all...

Maybe so but if we're honest, we did much better than most any of us thought they would in the indoor season after the majority of the real heavy hitters and most of what would have been a stellar recruiting class decided to follow Ross. I'm definitely encouraged about the future of both of our programs with Coach Johnson once he and his impressive staff get a chance to really recruit full-time this spring and summer.
Our absence from the top echelons of the track field world will be a very short one.
