Impressive show….thanks! Let’s close the “about the grass” thread….😎 Yes I said delete it 😂 Lay it to rest Why, I didn't hear the new coach say no to field turf. In fact I didn't hear the coach say anything "definitive" about new facilities of any kind. I recall him mentioned something about how he was getting old, and that W&M had turf, but never a word about what direction NCA&T was heading in on the subject. In fact as I recall he said schools use turf surfaces for multiple sports, and a decision like that was above his pay grade. Y'all jumping the gun and hearing/thinking what you want instead of going off just the facts. He didn't say a thing about stadium improvements, practice field, or playing field. I think we still gonna see some turf. You all know A&T is slow as all get out when it comes to facility improvements. How long did it take us to get lights, a decent field house, or new track? Turf fields are becoming the norm if college sports...this was true in the MEAC, BSC, and I'm willing to bet the same is true in the CAA. I'm not surprised NCA&T is lagging in this area...we always have. We will come around as we always do. I'm willing to bet that the "elite" FCS programs have turf. It's only a matter of time.

Jumped the gun and heard what they wanted. That said, I'm ok with grass as long as we keep it looking and performing good. Otherwise, turf for me.

The most important statement I heard him say tonight is that he’s going to get out into the community and take the players into the community to connect with the community!

Impressive show….thanks! Let’s close the “about the grass” thread….😎 Yes I said delete it 😂 Lay it to rest Can’t do it. The thread was always about taking care of the grass. It only morphed into turf because we don’t consistently keep the grass green. He wants beautiful and our field is not that, Until it is, the thread will continue and should.

If it happens it happens . that's no reason to shut it down. if folk still have an interest in the upkeep of our football field, then why silence them? the problem has not been fixed, so i see no reason to "silence" the complaints just because some folk are annoyed with the complaints. to me, for those who want it shut down, just don't read the thread anymore and your problem is solved. but to deny others who are passionate about fixing the problem from no longer having access to the thread is unjustified, in my opinion...
