People are saying he wasnt fired. He was asked to stay and still resigned, sooooo.....Washington haters just praise the man's career here and call it a day please. My source tell me he was let go from the top I said it wasn’t a retirement. |

A player who just graduated from A&T said this in my Twitter Spaces earlier tonight. “Players are heading to the portal because they ask for things…they are told they will get them…and it doesn’t show up…” It’s a similar sentiment that the band have said…and also some of the students as well… There might be a bigger issue folks… Yep! |

Calm down… I think everyone will be happy with the next HC . As long as they understand the Colonial, FCS Playoffs, and can recruit NC up through Maine, I’ll be happy. |

These same kids came up with the slogan” make A&T ghetto again “ remember that 😂 Students want more on campus housing, how is A&T going to 💩 out more housing with no money. Maybe administration believes that isn’t the most important matter at that moment since we have housing for 5k students. If the players are saying it’s necessary things and not things that they want…I don’t think it should be brushed off as a invalid complaint |

For any Triad Aggies, tell me if I’m wrong....
I watched the 10/11 o’clock news last night. Coach Washington’s firing was not mentioned on WGHP, WXII, or WFMY. I checked all 3 websites this morning; no mentioning of it. The only thing pertinent to Aggie football on the news last night was from WFMY, which said Tuten was in the transfer portal.
Does anyone find this odd?

For any Triad Aggies, tell me if I’m wrong.... I watched the 10/11 o’clock news last night. Coach Washington’s firing was not mentioned on WGHP, WXII, or WFMY. I checked all 3 websites this morning; no mentioning of it. The only thing pertinent to Aggie football on the news last night was from WFMY, which said Tuten was in the transfer portal. Does anyone find this odd? It’ll hit the local news today as the school issued a statement about it, hopefully. |

The issue is that like a family, kids want things that parents may not be able to afford or are not in the best interest of the family. Maybe administration believes that isn’t the most important matter at that moment since we have housing for 5k students. If the players are saying it’s necessary things and not things that they want…I don’t think it should be brushed off as a invalid complaint I agree but I also wouldn’t take his words as gospel, especially since he no example of what they needed for recovery. There are many examples where people on social media say something and it grows legs and it turns out it was not accurate or blatantly a lie. Not saying this is the case but the statement without any example seems a bit misleading. What the players consider basic could be the cryo recovery pants, can the school afford that for 125 players? To the players it’s basic but to the school it isn’t. Hit him up on social media and ask him to elaborate. |

Hell, if Guilford fired Brad Davis it would've been on the news that night...certainly on WFMY. |

2017 - Broadway retires on top. We hire Washington.
2018 - We finish 10 - 2 with wins vs. Jacksonville State & ECU and home losses to Morgan and FAMU. CB Champs. #12 in poll.
2019 - We finish 9 - 3 with win vs. ranked Elon, loss to Duke and losses on the road vs. Morgan and FAMU. CB Champs. #23 in poll.
2020 - No season due to covid
2021 - We finish 5 - 6 in first year of Big South conference play. Lost GHOE. Beat the Buzzards.
2022 - We finish 7 - 4 in second and final year in Big South. Win GHOE. Lose to the Buzzards. Lose the championship. Have 7-game winning streak.
So, in 4 on-the-field years, we win the CB twice, participate in a conference championship game only to lose it and you are shown the door?
The schedule is the schedule. And winning is HARD no matter the competition.

I would think that since this was an executive executive decision I would think more executive executive decisions are to come. The athletic department is in complete disarray. From attendance , to sponsorships, to nil deals, to facilities, to scheduling.. and not to mention the three revenue sports football baseball and basketball either have no coach or a coach that came in last in the big south.
We need a big ceo style big thinker that can run todays athletic department which includes all that I mentioned. We do not have that, and it’s no one’s fault todays skill set is not necessarily yesterdays skill set. I think the chancellor understands this and I expect more changes.

And winning is HARD no matter the competition. Why are you including MEAC/Celebration Bowl stats.....we're 2 conferences removed from being in the MEAC. 7 wins last year - all versus losing teams. The teams we'll be facing in the Colonial will look much more like G-W and North Dakota St than Robert Morris and Bryant. Frankly, I don't see how anyone can be against this decision......IF YOU ARE IN AGREEMENT WITH THE MOVE TO THE COLONIAL. There was nothing about our current program that said we were "Colonial ready" under Washington.... ....and if the next coach that is hired does not appear to be "Colonial ready" (ie. Maynor), then I will call for the dismissal of all involved in the selection. |

'Complete disarray' is a bit far for me. Significant issues (primarily Football & Men's Basketball coaches), yes, but not complete disarray. Oh, and Baseball is not a revenue sport. Only Football and Men's & Women's Basketball. |
