That's the Aggie Livewires gig...and I was told that they aren't like they used to be... To be frank, most of these college kids don't follow college sports and aren't going to frequent sporting events unless there's some kind of big block party atmosphere going down on site. Nowadays, it's pretty much all about being cool, getting as many people as possible to follow you on Instagram or Tik Toc, and becoming an "influencer" on social media, whatever the hell that is. Nothing but truth… not being critical, but most of them have a problem cheering, clapping their hands, walking, talking or doing anything without videoing themselves doing it.

I completely agree here... And I also think the economics of the students are different too...

Today’s attendance: 10,234
Our average over 6 games: 12781
A slight uptick compared to 2021. It should be another top-10 - 12 ranking for attendance.

Today’s attendance: 10,234 Yeah...they gotta change the camera angle to the other side...because it doesn't look like 10000 folks were there...

We don’t have the home and home with WSSU, NCCU don’t bring a crowd unless they’re winning or we’re playing in a neutral location. So even when we had HBCUs in our stadium, a crowd of fans didn’t always come with them. We have got to win over the community, that includes Reidsville, Eden, Lexington, Tville, and so on, not just Greensboro. We’ve got to especially find a way to fill in as many students as we can on all game occasions, not just GHOE. Do some of this and we’re fine…

A 9-2 Famu finished one spot ahead of us and they're in the SWAC lol. Being in an HBCU conference must make a huge difference as two MEAC schools cracked the top 30. Can't wait to hear the future rationalizations lol

Only 4 HBCUS are in the top ten. Hmm…

WCA, I agree, and I will patiently wait for the changes and the many great things to happen…

We had a great atmosphere at the game this week. At least 21,000 people in attendance. I would guess 14,000 to 15,000 were A&T fans.
How many will return for the next home game, October 7th vs Villanova?
Can we target populations in a three hour radius from campus?
Marketing questions?

I still say the gamezone has stifled growth and attendance. We squandered the celebration bowl momentum and 5-6 years of being the best in HBCU football. If we have the largest school we should have the best attendance. But even SC State beats us who also has some sort of a gamezone but not as large and restrictive as ours.
But we should be leading attendance. That should be the goal. The appeasement that we are better than others, that don’t have the students, resources, success, and history as our program. Because we made the conscious decision to move out of a black conference it is imperative that we build this culture.. If we want to move to FBS we have to build this culture.
There is no reason for us to resign that the SWAC schools are the only ones that can do this when we have the same exact audience. This is a choice and we have to make different choices to breed a great home experience that people attend games even if it’s Villanova and Richmond.

What other schools or institutions does Jackson State have to share their fanbase with in Jackson, MS or throughout? Now compare that with NC and other states.
