NSS, since you and others are so enraged about the penalties that keep occurring do you think we need a new coaching staff next year? ….?

NO ONE CARES ABOUT JSU AND PRIME 👍🏾 WE ARE A&T Don’t miss a good message because you dislike the messenger… Some are really jealous of Prime WE ARE A&T and WE DO PENALTIES 😂😂😂 His message is his message …. A message to his team….. I guess our coaches should do the same publicly instead of in the locker room . I guess they are just blind to it hunh And I’m a grown man, jealousy over another man doesn’t happen in my valley

I have resigned to the fact that we are a penalty prone team. We just completed game NINE! We are who we are! We keep saying these penalties are going to bite us in the butt. Guess what, we just won SIX games in a row! It is what it is and it's probably not going to change this season!
Gotta roll with the punches (literally)

I think it's important to explain why a lot of us old Aggies are so concerned with our team's discipline and image.
When we came to A&T we were viewed as a bunch of crude, rude farmboys that cared more about having a good time than academics! Parents knew us more for parties than academics. In recent years we've removed that label and become nationally known for our academics and professional talent. And us old Aggies" are extremely proud of where the University stands now.
So what's this got to do with football? We see today's players lack of discipline as a throwback to our undisciplined past. We think this behavior hurts the University's image. Now I know that's reading too much into the penalties but a lot of us old Aggies feel that way.

I’m glad we won, and even though we did things or were accused of dong things that upsets our character, in my opinion we still look like a good football team. But I have to take my hat off to NSU, even though they had to come here and lose a battle, they didn’t come here to lay down. They’ve got good players put up a fight, and are on their way to becoming a force.

Good win A&T. I wonder how Fowler is....I saw him limping. He throws a nice ball
It was good to see Norfolk. The Band loved it. And they let them play on dead balls instead of a lot of announcements.

Sooo winning games in the playoffs isn’t the goal of some on this board😂😂😂 The goal is to beat all teams on our schedule not just those with less talent…heck GW had less talent and they beat us last year. Same with NCCU, less talent but beat us🤷🏾♂️ No one cares about what happened in 2019 or 2018!! NDSU showed us how champions look and play! "Elephants don't swat flies"

My point is, no matter how we were projected to beat them, they were up for the challenge and may have even thought about an upset. They’re on a good path

We have played 9 games and after each game the Monday Morning QB's come out with nothing but negative vibes.
The main topic that is talked about is penalties and discipline. Hardly ever do positive vibes be discussed about the teams over all play that has produced a winning record.
We only have 2 games left. Do you think our players are going to change over night? Hell No.
The coaches know what they have. If it ain't broke again don't fix it. A sudden by the book change would kill this team.
Let Them Play Free Spirited ... 6-3 winning record with the BS Championship in sight.

I can live with the everyday penalties ( not in big numbers) But having Coached the game I can not except the Selfish Penalties..i.e Unsportsman-like and Personal Foul Penalties. It has no place on a Championship Caliber level team period. Hell you can ask Rag , Holland, Hicks even RAP Brown our teams had prided itself on playing Hard nosed football and being less penalized then our opponents. Face AKA Hornsby Howard didn't play that s*** . On the field, none of the sports programs did personal and unsportsmanlike conduct fouls were a definitely a No-No that came with consequences in a trip or trips around the world .

This isn't even debatable. All wins are good wins, but a critical mass of penalties can prevent victories...especially against better coached and more talented teams. NSU was an inferior opponent and our penalties literally extended two of their drives that resulted in points for them. But the game was never in question.
We can't count on that outcome against Gardner Webb or any team we may face in the playoffs if we are fortunate enough to get there.
Our coaches know it and anybody who has an ounce of football knowledge knows it. You can gas these kids up all you want and tell them you like "their edge." But when that "edge" costs us chunks of yards and a potential victory against a quality opponent then the whole tune is going to change. And this is not to even bring up the ugly unsportsmanlike conduct penalties or personal fouls that come at 15 yards a clip with an automatic first down for our opponent. The bottom line is that discipline is a hallmark characteristic of most championship teams. Either we're going to have it and benefit from it or we're going to lack it and it's going to cost us a victory at some point. I can't even imagine someone who says they are an Aggie supporting the latter result.

But the NCAA gotta loosen up on the celebration after TDs and big plays. And let ‘em talk trash more. It’s Football, not Rocket Science.
