This isn't even debatable. All wins are good wins, but a critical mass of penalties can prevent victories...especially against better coached and more talented teams. NSU was an inferior opponent and our penalties literally extended two of their drives that resulted in points for them. But the game was never in question. We can't count on that outcome against Gardner Webb or any team we may face in the playoffs if we are fortunate enough to get there. Our coaches know it and anybody who has an ounce of football knowledge knows it. You can gas these kids up all you want and tell them you like "their edge." But when that "edge" costs us chunks of yards and a potential victory against a quality opponent then the whole tune is going to change. And this is not to even bring up the ugly unsportsmanlike conduct penalties or personal fouls that come at 15 yards a clip with an automatic first down for our opponent. The bottom line is that discipline is a hallmark characteristic of most championship teams. Either we're going to have it and benefit from it or we're going to lack it and it's going to cost us a victory at some point. I can't even imagine someone who says they are an Aggie supporting the latter result. The staff knows this and you can see them trying to put a lid on it but come on. The refs gotta loosen up just a tad. As long as punches aren’t thrown, let these kids play.

It not Rocket Science. As someone pointed out about the NDSU game. " THEY WERE LOOKING AT OUR BOYS AND SMILING, LIKE WE DIDN'T BELONG ON THE FIELD WITH THEM " Some times Not Saying anything Sends A Bigger Point/Message then You Saying Everything. Like my cousin that was a Boxer use to say " I'm going to whip your a$$ and make you enjoy it " 😆🤣😂

Is Salahuddin still on the team? I guess he was among the 14 Aggies who were out with "the flu." I haven't seen him, at all, for 2 or 3 weeks.

The reality is that penalties will virtually always happen. None of them are ever ok and some are worse than others in terms of timing, severity, etc.
It's ludicrous to think that ANY of our coaches AND players are ok with penalties.
Yes, we need to do better...ESPECIALLY the kind like Zack got Saturday (Taunting/Unsportsmanlike). I understand the level of testosterone associated with competitive sports, but if any of my players would get the kind Zack got there would be pretty severe consequences & repercussions.
And, penalties can cost games.

But then again, we’re almost 10 weeks into this and Leslie needs rest almost as must has discipline over that penalty.

But I think the larger problem going forward is going to be our pass defense.I know it is late into the season and we got what we got but I am hopeful that we can make adjustments either in the pass rush or coverage. You can't give 20 yard cushions against an accurate QB.

I've said it before. Taunting, talking junk, etc. is basically motivating the opposition to play harder. Why in the world would you basically cheer for the other team?

We are where we wanted to be. Poised to smoke the next team like we have shown that we can smoke others ( in a Quarter). This Team is different.
Plus KP with the pass interference calls. I’ll have to go back and look. They didn’t look that bad. Plus, let them keep going to that well…they will get intercepted.

I give Norfolk some credit down 21 to 0 and winning only 1 game this year the team could have quit. I think this game showed us that we got to put the gas pedel on these guy and speed off. By the way we got our wish in the game to see if Mr. Brown can connect from 50+ yds. He was close.

Unless I am blind, I didn't see Monday's press conference posted to our athletics website or on YouTube. Can someone post the link please?
