2021 was the year with the COVID restrictions. Not sure that is a great comparison. I agree, there was also a tropical storm/hurricane that effected attendance. And entire season with only one game being promoted...

Did anyone else attend the stakeholders meeting last night?

If you have to ask, you were not invited.

Goals and strategies for moving towards R1 along with our new mission statement. It’s going to need its own thread, not sure where to start/place it honestly.

Back to the subject at hand. www.hcpress.com/sports/the-best-record-doesnt-always-mean-home-field-stadium-quality-money-play-role-in-fcs-site-selection.htmla. Prospective host institutions must submit the following minimum financial guarantees, which shall be 75 percent of the estimated net receipts as submitted on the proposed budget:
First round—$30,000 Second round—$30,000 Quarterfinal—$40,000 Semifinal—$50,000So say for example, we expect 5,000 paid attendance, our gross receipts would be 5000 x $20 (I think the NCAA sets the ticket pricing) = $100,000. If our expenses are $50,000, that would leave $50,000 in net receipts. We would pay the NCAA 75% of that which would be $37,500. That's where the economics come in. In that example, we would not lose any money, but I'm not sure how much it costs us to put on a game. Does anyone know? Bottomline: We should bid.

If they put up tickets for season ticket holders, if we win, I'll buy 2-4 although I wouldn't go.

Question: How many season ticket holders do we have? How many SHOULD we have?

There is a lot more to it than just submitting a bid .
Will tailgaters with section spaces have to pay ? When can A&T start selling tickets and how does it handle season ticket holders? Can the custodial staff schedule overtime on short notice? What kind of support from the city, community, donors and sponsors can A&T expect? Also is A&T willing to pay north of 150K$$ to out bid larger better funded FCS programs for just one game .

The kind of bids you're talking about happen in the later rounds not the first round, if at all.

Season ticket holders should pay just as we would do for any post season game. However, students would be the question mark. University discretionary funds to pay for tickets for say a 1,000 students? The game would be over the Thanksgiving break.
