If we can handle their 'hurry up' we'll be fine.

Granted Campbell has a good team and are indeed well coached. There "are" people on this site that have put them on a pedestal hinting or indicating that their team is much better than our's and we will lose Homecoming.
I saw the game and I was disappointed in both teams because I thought Campbell would play better than they did and I thought JSU would do the same.
A&T is better than JSU and Campbell. JSU is overrated and they have really not beaten any quality teams. Campbell beat a pretender in NCCU.
You will see Saturday who's program is better Saabman.

As far as putting Campbell on a pedestal 1. I was not one of those people. 2. What I saw in there game with JSU was to evenly matched teams with equal talent and equal weaknesses. 3. I just stated facts as I saw them A. They are well coached and task focused B. They are prepared and will fight to the final whistle even if they are behind C. They keep there foot on the gas . See I have no feelings about who they have played even if they are common opponents . Because each team is different and execute differently based on the opponent they are playing that weekend. And Nowhere in any of my posts about Campbell did I even remotely say that they were better , more talented or would beat US . I see this as a game again with evenly matched talent and the one that blinks the least or most could possibly win ot lose the game. Now if you think that I'm shading 😎 on A&T you are totally Wrong Aggieblackie2 .

Saab I did not say you personally was putting Campbell on a pedestal. I said some people are and they have been saying so before the season even started.
You are the one who became defensive because of my statement. Usually when someone becomes defensive they are possibly guilty are leaning in thoughts in that direction.
Just because a team fights to the end does not mean they are a great team. That is a good trait to have in a team if they are winners or having a losing or average season.
From what I observed in the game between the Camels and JSU were two teams overrated. We can beat both of them.

They keep there foot on the gas . Not trying to pick on you specifically saabman, but I have seen this statement several times from multiple people but, ....... - They scored 7 points in the 2nd half on Robert Morris after leading 34-10 at half. 1 less point than us. Some on this board are killing us for it, but praising them for "playing till the end"
- 2 field goals and 1 td with a missed extra point in the 2nd half vs the Citadal. The Citadel is 2-5 and horrible
- 14 points in 2nd half after jumping out on NCCU hard in the 1st. 1 offensive TD. The other a punt block (the game looked like it should have been 60-0 based on the 1st quarter mistakes by NCCU and their domination up front). They really kept their foot on the gas in that game(sarcasm).
- Mustered up 10 points in the 2nd half against Charleston Southern and barely won. CSU is 1-6
That's it, that's all their wins. I'm confused about the "foot on gas" comments they keep getting? They got 4 wins, not 7. Their highest output is 48 and that was from a dominate first half vs NCCU and 41 after a dominant 1st half against against Robert Morris. I'm confused at where all this "greatness" is coming from? We play solid football and we can easily win this. They are not NDSU or somebody like that. They not even William and Mary. They got handled straight up and down by W&M. Show me the impressive win? Please show it to me? I guess some are just saying NCCU because we lose to them with 4 of our better players out. I aint saying they suck and they cant possibly beat us, because they can. But come on......

But come on...... It seems that their recruits aren't shining yet, which makes sense because they're true freshmen. Their OL is rather large but I don't know if they move well for all 4 quarters. And their QB may be better with their legs than his arm. Before the season started, I was one of those Aggies that penciled in GHOE as a loss. Now, I think we got a legit shot to win. Also, I think we got some wrinkles in our offensive and defensive game plan that we're gonna throw out on Saturday. However, I expect both teams to be heavily penalized.

From what I observed in the game between the Camels and JSU were two teams overrated. We can beat both of them. Then you need to address those people. As long as you and I have been on the board going at each other in opposition disagreement and Alliance , When have I ever been defensive name one time . I make my statements and stand by my statements and if I am wrong I apologize and man-up to my word's. All I ask of you or anyone on this board is to not place me in a car with others because you perceive that I am in agreement with what others may have said . When it comes to athletics competition I have always been a 50/50 type person and have stated so on numerous occasions..i.e SCSU vs JSU celebration bowls when everyone was saying that South Carolina state would get plummeted my position as it has always been is that no team is unbeatable and no team is guaranteed a win regardless of who they have played or who they have played before hand . That has always been my position and it will stay my position win or lose . Now if you think that I feel that A&T will lose because of my words My Brother I can't help you with that . But I will say this A&T will have to bring there AAA game in all facets of the competition not just for Campbell but the rest of the season .

Saab I simply made a statement that some people are putting the Camels on a pedestal. I did not mention your name and I am not going to call them out unless they respond.
I simply stated that JSU and Campbell are overrated and that T could beat both of them.
I did not see the fight to the end as you pointed out about Campbell. I damn sho did not see them keep their feet on the gas pedal. Check the score out.
What game was you watching as you asked me?
A&T 30 - Campbell 10. Homecoming

But come on...... My statement or someone eles ? What in my statement said that A&T would lose or remotely suggested that we would lose because Campbell is a more talented team ? Address the people that made those remarks , don't put me in the car with them ! I don't care about who Campbell played before A&T or who A&T played before Campbell. All head to hand competitions are different and weaknesses that are exposed are ( should be) corrected. This in my opinion is going to be a 50-50 game as all games are from my perspective and opinion . No team is unbeatable and no win is guaranteed it has to be earned . Now if anyone on this board expects me to say that we will win it's not going to happen and those that expect me to say we will lose that is not going to happen either. It's 50-50 between to equally talented teams just put the ball down and play hard from the first whistle to the last and everything else will work itself out regardless of the score .

Am I the only one that feels as we are good to be the big south champions?
We passed the two test (Bryant and Rob Morris) they set the schedule like that for a reason…… I think the Rob morris game was more the trap game but we handled business……

I will reiterate and some may choose to erase history if you like...
Mike Minter: 10th season, 40–55 (.421) Campbell All time record: 54–96 (.360)
They are who they are! We will win GHOE>>

I have to admit both the Buzzards and Campbell have taken a significant drop in my competitive rating since earlier in the season. The wins against us and NH are starting to look flukiest about now, and Campbell hasn't beaten anyone (but neither have we).
I'm probably in the minority, but I'm more concern about our defense, than our offense, especially containing their QB. Our history against dual threat QBs is kinda sketchy if I recall correctly. Most of the QBs we faced so far have been drop-back passers. If we hold their rushing attack to around 100 yards we win. The last couple weeks we have been fine tuning our passing game. If Campbell stacks the box, I don't think their DBs can contain our WRs.
Additionally, I give the intangibles to us, their defeat last week probably took some fat off their humps and aren't as confident as week 1. On the other hand we are slowly building confident and have a better understanding of who we are compared to week 1. They are on the road again and we are at home before adoring crowd.
