I am an original charter member but have been totally immersed with the AAF and I was unaware of any of goings-on with the Gold Helmet Club until this past Saturday until I was asked for some dues (didn't know there were any) when I stopped by to pick up my program. After a nice conversation on what was going on with Gold Helmets, I gave my contact information to the nice lady who handles the programs and she said I would be included from here on out. I just need to know who to send the check to.
I also just emailed you my contact information.

The $20 annual dues helps pay for the staff working in the Gold Helmet Room. |

How do you get to be Gold Helmet? The Gold Helmet Club consists of those 400+ fans that purchased lifetime football tickets back in 1976 to help build Aggie Stadium. The promotion was quickly ended after a year. I'm out since I was only 10 or 11 at the time. Funny thing is that I had an uncle who worked at an A/C place over by the new Bojangles and we never went by A&T, that I remember. So I didn't learn about A&T until my senior year of high school at a school fair my high school had. |

So I didn't learn about A&T until my senior year of high school at a school fair my high school had. Wow! I knew about a&t as a 1st grader because my mom went to st Aug but I knew I wanted to be an engineer from what I doing to all my toys….pulling them apart to see how the worked. She recommended a&t and I never forgot…. |
