EAST GREENSBORO – All the outdoor track and field athletes have been declared for the 2022 NCAA Division I Preliminary Round (regionals), and North Carolina A&T had 25 student-athletes qualify for the event. Twelve women and 13 men are scheduled to compete May 25-29 at Indiana University's Robert C. Haugh Complex. One year ago, the Aggies were the only school to have their women's and men's teams finish in the top-5 nationally. Two athletes from the outdoor women's team will compete in multiple events led by freshman Grace Nwokocha in the 100 and 200 meters and senior Kamaya Debose-Epps in the 100 and 200. Nine from the men's side will compete in multiple events led by sophomore Javonte' Harding (100, 200, 4x100-meter relay), junior Randolph Ross Jr. (400, 4x100, 4x400) and senior Cory Poole (110 hurdles, 400H and 4x400). "On the men's side, I'm proud of my hurdlers," said Duane Ross, A&T's director of track and field programs. "We are going into regionals really deep in that area – the 110 and the 400 hurdles." "I like what we did in the field events with the ladies, specifically in the jumps," Ross said about the women's team. "We qualified two high jumpers, we got a triple jumper in, and Loren (James) made it for the second straight year as a thrower. So I'm excited about that." ncataggies.com/news/2022/5/19/track-field-twenty-five-aggies-qualify-for-east-regionals.aspx?fbclid=IwAR0OphV6tnN9FjCkHT3OieQzP3xO1Ft2U3GyTY_xpBAdD5eiXIhlxivqvrs

From reading the article, is it safe to assume that neither the women's 4x100(#5 nationally) or 4x400 teams qualified?
Edit: I see that we scratched from the 4x400 but we aren't listed to compete in the 4x1. I wonder what happened?

Not sure why we pulled out of both Women's relays? That's what I'm puzzled about...I wonder if it has something to do with Symone Darius. I see she qualified for the 100 and 200, but she isn't running.(Also apart of the 4x1 and 4x4 relay)

I see she qualified for the 100 and 200, but she isn't running.(Also apart of the 4x1 and 4x4 relay) Released today. (self-reported) CHARLOTTE, N.C. (www.BigSouthSports.com) -- The Big South Conference has released the following statement on North Carolina A&T’s Women’s Outdoor Track & Field team: “The Big South Conference is aware of North Carolina A&T’s self-report of a violation to the NCAA involving an ineligible student-athlete that competed during the 2022 Outdoor Track & Field season, including the Conference Championship from May 9-11. Per Big South Conference policy, A&T is required to forfeit points the ineligible student-athlete helped earn during the Conference Meet, and the team standings have been adjusted appropriately to reflect this requirement. “The adjustment changes North Carolina A&T’s team point total in the Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championship to 180 points, with High Point now declared the 2022 Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Champion following its 187 points accumulated in the Meet. A&T finishes as the Runner-up. “In addition, Conference policy also states that Sasser Cup point allocation will be adjusted, and any records and honors achieved by the ineligible student-athlete during the Outdoor Track & Field season will be removed." bigsouthsports.com/news/2022/5/20/womens-track-field-big-south-statement-on-north-carolina-a-t-womens-outdoor-track-field.aspx
