Look, I am disappointed in the path that his career has taken with this injury, but I am just praying for his overall long-term health.
I tore up my knee (ACL & MCL) as a freshman in college. I just celebrated the fifth anniversary of my 13th birthday on this past Wednesday and I am having KNEE REPLACEMENT surgery on March 30.
The Kid has a long life to live and I hope he lives it to the fullest and without pain. Best of luck with the knee replacement!!! Thanks!! This has been 46 years in-the-making. In fact, my surgery is scheduled exactly on the 46th anniversary of the original surgery. I'm looking forward to it!

I had no idea his younger brother passed too. That's just unimaginable. I can't even think of words of condolence for all he's been through in such a short time.

Almost too much. Give him his space and time to heal. He has a brand-new son and wife to help him through. Something to re-focus on. I don't think he's done yet with the NFL. Not by a longshot.

I'm gonna be honest ,I started reading this earlier today on Facebook ,and I had to stop 3 or 4 times and have myself a good old fashined cry . Tarik has the heart of a lion ,and I hope and pray he bounces back to be that man for his family ,whether he plays another down in the NFL or not .

I agree there's nothing else left but for him to move up in life I truly believe he will be back in the NFL. This has proven to me that every ACL is different with everyone and there's different severities of that injury

I'm sorry to hear about all of Tarik's difficulties. He's always been my favorite Aggie running back and I just hope he keeps the faith and that he gets another chance in the NFL...
