He's been going through a lot over the past few years.
Family tragedy and now this.

very disappointing. makes me wonder how well his surgery went and whether he had the best surgeon for his injury. there had already been speculation that the bears would release him, so i'm not shocked. but i am shocked that he failed his physical...

I remember a player that was released by his team under the same type conditions can't think of his name but e ws out for a year but ended up with the 49ers continued his career. The Kid will land some where if he still wants to play that is . As the saying goes " when one door closes it opens another " .

I think you're talking about Garrison Hearst saab.
At Cohen's size if he doesn't have all his speed and quickness back it might be time to get into coaching, even if he can pass a physical.

Getting out of Chicago could be the best thing that could have happened to the young man. Chicago was clueless on how to use his talents. If the Panther are to trade McCarthy he could come in and do a lots of things McCarthy provided. Just relax and get healthy and get back to your old self if that possible. If not we my have the answer to our running back coach position. He would be a positive attitude in the locker room. Best of luck to you what ever happens and remember you will always be #1 in the hearts of all the Aggies Family. You are AGGIES PRIDE.

Hate to hear this. ACL surgery is tricky. Even by the best doctors. Hopefully had can land somewhere and still act a fool on that field. Coaching at Aggieland can come after.

Look, I am disappointed in the path that his career has taken with this injury, but I am just praying for his overall long-term health.
I tore up my knee (ACL & MCL) as a freshman in college. I just celebrated the fifth anniversary of my 13th birthday on this past Wednesday and I am having KNEE REPLACEMENT surgery on March 30.
The Kid has a long life to live and I hope he lives it to the fullest and without pain.
