We really needed the whole team to compete in order to win.. The folks that sit out were worth a combined 40-50 points.

We really needed the whole team to compete in order to win.. The folks that sit out were worth a combined 40-50 points. Coach Ross knows what he is doing. It is really hard to win a conference championship with just Sprinters and middle distance runners , unlike the national championships where the Distances, Throws and Jumps cancel each other out opening up the scoring for the Sprinters and middle Distances runners to close the show . Ross needs just a few more pieces to have the complete team to win conference championships, but that is not his focus because he knows that we have the talent in house to win Nationals but adding more talented Distances, Throws and jumps can't hurt . As for Hilton he needs to focus on getting the right coaches in Football and Basketball and not lump all our sports into one boat. Just saying . |

I know all of that. I trust Coach Ross. I'm just saying we chose to come in 3rd. As far as Hilton comment, that was a joke.

You make it sound ( and that may not be your intent) as if the athletes who did not run would have added 40-50 points to your total. That would not be the case. You would bump people down and if you already won the event and the new winner was an aggie, your total would not go up by 10 points, Campbell would still win

Instead we earned 16 points in the 400, 20 points in the 200 Additionally, Campbell earned 10 points in the 200 for a #1 finish which they wouldn’t have received You can do the math on all this, we win the title if everyone runs😂 We would have won the 4x400 too Our new total would be 138 vs Campbell 135 |

It amazes me that some on here that have never ran coached or anticipated at this level can Drop Salt on Coach Ross's decision . When I he is clearly maneuvering this program to win a National Championship this year indoor and possibly outdoor , over a Big S***it conference indoors Ship 😆 BS like this is how programs lose outstanding coaches like coach Ross because they have no understanding about the strategy of The Craft . Coach Ross is focused on the National Championship for A&T it's just that simple. |

If I looked at the participants for the list correctly, only 3 HBCUs ( NCAT , Tenn State and Alcorn State ) have athletes at the Indoor Track Championships next week. Only NCAT will have women athletes
