Reddick Breaks Meet Record, Aggies Win Twice at JDL Arrieya Harper won the triple jump at the Winston-Salem College Kick-off on Saturday. WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Five North Carolina A&T track and field athletes helped the Aggies open the 2020-21 indoor season at the JDL Fast Track on Saturday during the first day of the Winston-Salem College Kick-off. Despite the low number of participants for the Aggies, they still came away with two victories on Saturday, which included setting a new meet record. Graduate Nazah Reddick (Jacksonville, Fla.) won the women's high jump with her best jump recorded at 5-feet, 9 ¼ inches. It marked a new meet record, breaking the record set by A&T Aggie Nakita Gray in 2013 at 5-feet, 8 ½-inches. Sophomore Arrieya Harper (Carson, Calif.) won the women's triple jump at 39-feet, 7 ¼ inches. For the fifth time in her career, Reddick won an indoor high jump event. She has eight first-place high jump wins overall, including outdoor. On the first try, Reddick made the jump of 5-feet, 9 ¼ inches. It took Duke's Brianna Smith two tries to get the mark, which gave Reddick the win. Saturday marked the second time in Reddick's career she won the high jump at the College Kick-off as she won it in 2018. Reddick seems to be working much harder in practice than I ever recall... She is at the front of the training group when I have attended.... of course Wilson going to Oregon last year may be pushing her ....... Going to Need those field points in BS
