Only week 2 of the off season and that’s 5 we know of, the locker room is in hell It's hell when you lose Starters or significant contributors . This is not the case yet . This is just normal . There is no Hell in the locker-room , just more slots openings for scholarships through the portal or otherwise.

It funny to me how some viewed the Black College National Championship and being the #1 HBCU in Football as a Joke and a Act of Fiction because we were outside of the FCS Playoffs Microscope 😆 But now some are worried that T has lost its Shine , Fictional also . Gentleman you can't have it both ways . The luster was tarnished when we moved to a PWI conferences and tarnished even more by not winning/ dominating in that conference 😆 as long as the student population continues its growth rates for me the shine is still prevalent and intact . This all can be fixed in football by Winning and Dominance in the conference, but this Fictional Shine will never be the same among HBCU fans because of the conference A&T is located in , just ask TSU . Amen, Amen; not to mention the manner in which this move was done. Again I do not believe that Hilton truly appreciates the ethos of A&T and it legacy. I dont want us following the path of TSU but that appears to be the reality. The curent conference affiliation reminds me oif the history of Maryland State who had a strong football program but was derailed by a former adminstrator from College Park. This to me seem to be the Hilton's approach. Now during this Winter of Darkness we can turn this thing around if the players put in the work and desire. For starters I will review video of those individuals that sought to instigate a fisticuffs with Gardner Webb and clean house of this element.

Quite a bit of it has to come from the losing season we had coming out of the pandemic. Hopefully, things subside even if a few key cogs hit the portal.

Wasn't Martin enveloped in the Winston-Salem States move to the MEAC ? The WSSU situation was similar to what happened at Maryland state/ Maryland Eastern Shore's football program that is what I see in his reference not a dislike of Hilton . Because in the end as with the football HC it all falls back on the Man in Charge not the people from the working group that approved the move , just like the move to the Big S***it Martin has the final say .

I’m not going to speculate on if he appreciates the A&T legacy and history, and I like where the athletic department as a whole has gone since he took over. One thing I did notice about him during the Big South press conference, unless I’m remembering wrong, was that he danced around the elephant in the room and left Martin to address that. Instead of just saying we going to work to keep HBCUS on the schedule, culture, etc, he would say traditional rivals, where as Martin would just straight up say HBCUs. That was my main complaint with him about the move, if you going to be bold enough to make the move, then own it, and don’t dance around certain topics when it comes to the move. But maybe there was a decision behind the scenes to let martin speak on it. As for as TSU, I’m not going to pretend to know their history. Being a HBCU In Tennessee, did they have any natural rivals? I think that’s the one thing that keep us from being them. We have NCCU, SCSU, and maybe even Howard, who we’ll be able to schedule yearly, because they see it just as beneficial as we do.

Hilton has never worked at WSSU, he has been at A&T since at least 2003. 2. His ramble has nothing to do with performance on the field, it’s all about the move. 3. Hilton does not have the power to unilaterally change the conference we compete in…the move was recommended to the Board of Trustees and they approved the move. Go back and watch the press conference, there is a lot of misinformation out there and the answers are in the video. 4. Hilton did not lead the working group, it was led by a Board of Trustee member. Hilton was only one voice on this working group out ~ 6-7. 5. This guy continues to make post that make zero sense and takes a shot at Hilton each time. He doesn’t take a shot at the chancellor, Chancellor Martin has been talking about moving conferences ever since 2015 yet his post are continuously directed at Hilton. It’s personal for this guy…

AD Hilton has a law degree so he understands how to use conservative language that can not be used against him or the school in the future.
