lol, wish he was still eligible to play basketball in college. he formerly committed to play basketball at unc, but he left them at the altar and instead went straight to the nba. heck, maybe he can help out (coaching) with the basketball team...

This is really dope! From CP3, LeBron, now JR Smith all showing love to HBCUs. I hope this trend keeps going for years to come.

This is really dope! From CP3, LeBron, now JR Smith all showing love to HBCUs. I hope this trend keeps going for years to come. I hope it's not a Trend but a Purpose .

He should be able to compete in Golfe with no problem . I don't think that the NCAA can stop him unless the question is about scholarship funding.

Soooo....I was actually on campus about a week and a half ago and saw him in the bookstore. I assumed he had a kid in school at T or he was there for some other reason. This is real dope.

I don't think that the NCAA can stop him unless the question is about scholarship funding. heck, dude ought to "easily" be able to pay his own way. he played "15" years in the nba and won "2" nba championships while there. he shouldn't need any financial assistance if he managed his nba and endorsements money well...

It feels like a purpose with CP3, and his parents are Alums, Coach Primes move, I feel is with purpose. Maybe this in the N&R influences our recruit interest.

That is the point the NCAA should have nothing to do with Smith being able to compete on the Golfe team if he is paying his own way .
