After the American men did not place in the 4x100, one of the commentators said part of the problem is that our teams come together for the first time at the Olympics. Most of the other countries teams run together all year, sometimes several years People always make excuses… Why didn’t they start practicing after the Olympic trials? We don’t take it serious, something is broken and it’s that these athletes go back home after the trials and don’t see each other again until the Olympics. After the trials the relay teams should be training together 🤷🏾♂️. They had a month to practice and set the line up but they chose not to.

Most of the other countries teams run together all year, sometimes several years the baton exchange is way more "critical" in the 4x100 than it is in the 4x400. not that its not important in the 4x400 also, just that there's far less room for error in the 4x100 than there is in the 4x400...

The 4x1 performance has applied some pressure upon the 4x4 team.
Looking forward to our "A&T team" restoring some respectability to USA Men's track. Great opportunity!

By 8:00 am EST Friday we will have another Aggie with a Olympic medal or heartburn! Stewart will be fine but I'm super nervous for Ross. The pressure will be on him to return to his record breaking form.

If they put them at legs 2 and 4 like they normally are, USA will be fine. My gut says they will run Norman on the anchor though because his mother is from Japan.
