On a tangent here; but this reminds me of the conversation that Jesse Jackson had during a March Madness event talking about character versus talent (quantity v quality). Well you want talent more so but character is also needed while quality is a very determing factor. This year will be a test for us as we will have the weight of all HCBUs as our cross to bear whether folk want to accept this reality or not. So all we have to do is represent show up, show out and have each others back. For instance if some opposition player wants to be nasty to Jah-Man or kickers then we should clear the bench and let the ships fall where they may. That is plain dumb and ignorant Let's imagine a scenario for the sake of argument. The kid from Lexington field goal kicker gets rough up intentionally game on the line time running out. Is the the team suppose to accept that? well continue drinking your James Clyburn cool aid

Weight of all HBCUs on our backs…when did we sign up for that…because we are in a non HBCU conference. WhT weight is on Tenn State back or Hampton for that matter. We don’t represent all HBCUs and should never feel that way. As for the clearing the bench thing…not even gonna address that mess with a response. Yep whether you realize it or not not only AyanTee but also Jackson State will be carrying the albatross excellence on our backs. Perhaps most remarkable is the fact that both schools had Dr. Rennick as a catalytic innovator in the pursuit of Excellence. Obviously you do not understand the relevance of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and its imprint upon the culture of these divided states of America which is continuously in progression.

Lol Jackson State needs to have a winning season before it carries anything for HBCU Football
