The Bowerman pre NCAA T&F championships watch lists didn't have any Aggies on it. When the next list (semifinalist) comes out on Jun 17, look for both Sturgis and Ross to make it.

Ross should be a lock with his indoor and outdoor performances in the 400 and 4x400.

Ross should be a lock with his indoor and outdoor performances in the 400 and 4x400. These are going to be tight. Terrence Laird of LSU would have wrapped this up IF he had won the 200M final along with winning the 4x100 and 100M. But Fahnbulleh from Florida... So this will be close. Same with Cambrea and Anna Cockrell winning the 100MH and 400MH titles. Combined with Anna's mental health story & USC winning the team title, it's gonna be tough. But we should be competitive. |

It could be tricky because although the finalists are announced next week, the voting closes at the end of July. The Olympic Trials may be a factor. Either way the winners are not announced until December.

Seems to me we tend to over look field events Harrison LJ and HJ from LSU won both 27'1.5" and 7"7" outdoors . Won both in Indoors ..he seems to be a lock to me

We tend to focus to much on the glamour events (on the track )and less on Field events. It's sad but that's they way it is !!

well she definitely made a name for herself in eugene! wow, what a turnaround since indoor season when we were wondering what's wrong with cambrea. it probably gave her "extra" motivation to show out during outdoor season...
