How about them Aggies. It was a great track & field meet for both our Men & Women. I love it, AGGIE SUCCESS and AGGIE PRIDE all the way!!!
By the Way, watch out Big South, we'll be there in less than 3 weeks with a lot of PRIDE, Aggie Pride...

Interesting quote from Coach Ross...
"I think some of our competition is still struggling with the fact that we are better," said Ross. "They should have been paying attention when I claimed it before it happened."
I could see part of that after the championship races. In most cases, the athletes congratulate the winner. The power school athletes probably compete against each other quite a bit. But when Randolph won the 400, Trevor was the only one who congratulated him. When Cambrea won both races... none of her competitors came up to her post-race. The Kentucky squad congratulating Trevor after the 4x400 win was the only one I saw. The tapes don't lie. We were already indoor 4x400 champions, so they knew to expect an A&T win. But the individual wins... I believe that's part of what Coach Ross is speaking about. And I wasn't happy with what I saw, so I'm sure Coach Ross wasn't either. More fuel to the fire.

That is why the victories are even sweeter, especially Cambrea’s over Clark (who is from High Point). I am petty... but a national program is a 15 min drive away.

I think Aggie stadium should be turned into a track only facility🤔 I already have the location in mind for a new stadium😂 (The neighborhood with the white apartments)

Always love a "character" story. This is an excerpt from a NC A&T article:
...Unfortunately, senior TeJyrica Robinson tripped over the final hurdle, but Ross complimented her because she got up and finished the race, which allowed the Aggies to finish fourth...
Never quit on the team - Aggie Pride!!

It’s always bigger than just you. We didn’t get top 5 finishes based on just who came in first.... This was a TEAM accomplishment

I would hope that if that is the sentiment, it is not coming from the opposing runners themselves, but from the seeds planted in their heads from coaches and people around them. I still can't get over the ESPN commentator not even acknowledging that Cambrea or A&T was even in the race during introductions in the 100m and then forced to change her tune in the 200m and mentioned her first.
