The NCAA announced the athletes who will compete by events at the regionals next week. NCAT will by MY count have 13 M&W each. There could be more because several 4x4 relay members may not be qualifiers in the individual events. The Big South had 27 total 15M and 12W. The other MEAC schools had 12M and 6W not counting who may be on the relay teams. NCCU had two Coppin had the most men 4 (not counting who might be on the 4x1 and 4x4 relay teams) and Howard had the most women (3) in the events and a 4x4 relay team. High Point had 7W and 4M Campbell had 5M and 1W.

some folk obviously don't understand that more teams competed in the bsc championships than the meac championships, both famu and bcu (2 of the stronger programs) opted out on both sides. bcu was last year's (2019) runner-ups on the men's side and famu was the runner-ups on the women's side.
so the 2nd best meac programs on both the men's and women's sides "opted out" and did not compete...

The measure will be how many of those numbers make it to the Nationals . Also BCU & FAMU did not participate in the meac Championships which could have added numbers to the MEAC ranks .
