If he signs, I guess we'll know that our starting secondary will be all transfers. LOL

He’d definitely fits the safety question mark

Does anyone think Coach Washington is retooling this roster for a Big South title run?

We'll have a much clearer answer to that question by this time next Wednesday.

Does anyone think Coach Washington is retooling this roster for a Big South title run? Not to be sarcastic, but what else would he be doing? There will only be 4 other teams in the Big South conference this year and we already beat 3 of them. Every remaining team in the Big South finished 2021 with a losing record. This is not some juggernaut league we are competing in.

Well guess who the bullseye is squarely on now? It's going to be a harder fight than it was last year.

Well guess who the bullseye is squarely on now? It's going to be a harder fight than it was last year. I don't mind this so much, it's nothing wrong with bringing out the best in your opponent. It's good to be known for; in order to beat us in football you have to bring your "A" game. But, if everyone and I mean everyone does what they are supposed to do then, we can and will win the Big South...it's about us at this point. We have to play the way we are supposed to from a discipline standpoint and we will be totally fine.

Well guess who the bullseye is squarely on now? It's going to be a harder fight than it was last year. It is going to be a much easier fight than it was last year. Three of the teams that beat us are gone. And the one remaining team that beat us, we led them by double digits in the fourth quarter and we outscored them 90-9 in our two previous meetings. We are competing against Gardner-Webb (4-7), Charleston Southern (4-6), Robert Morris (4-6) and Campbell (3-8). Are yall seriously gonna try to act like this is the SEC West?

Campbell will be no walk in the park and GW will not either.

Sir, there is no team in FCS football that will be a walk in the park based on how we performed last season.
But who would you rather face: GW and Campbell or Kennesaw and Monmouth?
Our conference schedule got a whole lot easier.

Well, we don't know what Campbell looks like matchup-wise. I get your point but, I would never give to that thinking because, thinking like that helps get us to where we currently are.

Remember that A&T ruled Morgan State and Florida A&M but lost to both in back to back seasons. In my opinion last years victories should be in the past and stay in the past . This season should be a blank slate period. Because they are getting new personnel just like A&T is upgrading.

IMO last year's victories were practically losses. I don't remember seeing a full four quarters of disciplined play with solid execution. Failure to do so is how you lose to teams that were 4-7, 4-6, 4-6, and 3-8 when they are hungry to beat you. If you don't have your sheeet together you will basically help them beat you.
The guys coming in will have to help settle the ones we have down that were incapable of doing so themselves last year. If the coaches weren't getting that done last year I don't suspect there will be a sudden change this year in that regard, so it'll come down to new locker room leadership.
