43 Years, he had a great run. Probably stayed on a little too long and these last few years have been rough. But, he did a great job overall for the University.

Probably would have been better for his wikipedia page if he had retired before Hampton lost accreditation to its pharmacy program.
That is a huge L on his watch.

When I read the headline, I thought he was retiring soon, nope. Not at the end of the year, not at the end of this academic year, but at the end of the next academic year. That’s probably enough time to mold somebody in his image.
Seriously, it will probably take that long to hire someone and transition after 43 years of doing things the Harvey Way. He did have a great run, but probably stayed to long. However, to my surprise 43 years doesn’t get Harvey into the top 10 of longest tenured Presidents at one university.

I think they don't want us in the mix. Hampton have a world class cancer treatment center what the ? is going on killing of young black gifted minds which is why I am constantly piss about things as they are which is why we must continue to fight. Imagine black pharmacists during the current reality and their impact upon matters vaccine related while the money is flowing over troubled waters.
