175 is what he was listed at playing at T. Correct me if I am wrong but I thought Mac gained up to 190 while training this winter in Florida

They are not planning to move him to safety. They're talking about using him in the slot in the 'dime' package rather than at the outside corner.

From the article:
Rookie of the day: DB Mac McCain III
McCain made one of the better plays, breaking up a pass intended for Tyrie Cleveland. The undrafted rookie looked solid in coverage throughout the day and could position himself as someone who could sneak onto the team or the practice squad.
"Mac's a guy who's got limited college background in what he's been exposed to from a football standpoint," Fangio said. "He's learning. He's got a long ways to go to be a regular player in this league, but we like his potential."

Bs first of all his name McCain carries weight second his other Mother Ayantee carries a hell of weight. this assessment is an insult to his intelligence as well as his coaches and conference MEAC.

They always do that crap to us. I'm almost to the point I'm not even concerned. They questioned and continue to question Brandon Parker's readiness while not noting his position coach is a former pro. Likewise, Mac's head coach played db for some of the toughest Pittsburg teams around, and he's not the only Aggie db in the league.
Keep sleepin...

Coach sounds like he does not plan to keep Mac. If, what he expressed is true. He didn't play professionally. Played high school and college and then got into coaching from high school to college to the pros. A lot of cheap disrespecting of HBCU football.

HBCU football isn’t good, facts are facts…the MEAC and SWAC can’t beat non HBCUs on the field at the FCS level. So emotional

Not to the Head Coach of the Denver Broncos. Remember he's the same coach that said there's no such thing as racism in the NFL.

Don't bring basketball into this conversation.

That's why I'm ready to see where we stack up against Monmouth and Kennesaw State. (Even though I don't consider us the average HBCU team)
