This could make for some very interesting decisions and it makes sense high school recruits committing early. As example we could have a Very good senior play in the spring. That Senior could be all conference but not a pro prospect. You could bring that senior back for fall 21 season as a graduated student. Maybe kid develops into a pro prospect at the least they just got a year of grad school. So if the choice came down due to budget would You pass on a good high school recruit to get one more year from a all conference 22 year old grown man ?

I would take the proven player not just for football but he is proven to be a factor in the classroom also .

Can somebody help Tony out and let him know that our most recent NFL draftee was Darryl Johnson and Brandon Parker, before that, since Tarik?

Since the Minnesota HS Athletic Association has now decided to play this fall, Yeager will go ahead and graduate in December and will be an early enrollee for the spring semester.

Yeah just from this interview, this kid seems to be mature for his age. Have fairly insightful answers during the interview. He did say his dad was a. for the Pistons, partially explains his comfort level. Very curious to see how this plays out.

I disagree. Just the opposite.
Six quarterbacks in the room means there is not gonna be a lot of practice reps for quarterbacks 3 through 6.
Most of those guys wont even have an opportunity to get a lot of scout team work.

Most of those guys wont even have an opportunity to get a lot of scout team work. I see it differently. Scrimmage reps are not the only way that you grow. All QBs will do all drills. All QBs will do film study. All QBs will learn the plays and do mental reps. Competition breeds excellence. As far as who gets the reps, you fight for it. What the pecking order will be next year is not etched in stone. We can predict that Fowler will be QB1, but 2-6 are yet to be determined going into next Fall. The whole room will be better in Fall 2021 and Fall 2022, which will make Fowler and whoever emerges as the backup way better. Are you convinced that Ifedi will still be the backup next year having not seen the newcomers?
