Highlights and Rivals composite profile:n.rivals.com/content/prospects/2018/jaison-taylor-180444Hudl Highlights:www.hudl.com/profile/4093208/Jaison-Taylor Former Newton standout Jaison Taylor officially joins Navy's class of 2023 By Gabriel Stovall
Updated: Jul 14, 2019, 2:41 PM
Two years ago, Jaison Taylor made a choice to continue his education at a place that would allow him to play football and prepare to serve his country. That signing was the easy part. After the fact, Taylor had to do the preliminary work needed to officially be counted as a member of the Naval Academy’s Class of 2023. And as of June 28, the Newton High graduate and former football standout is official. A June 28 press release from the Naval Academy shared that Taylor, a former 3-star safety prospect at Newton, was inducted into the Naval Academy Class of 2023 and has now begun a six-week basic midshipman training period. Jamison Warren, 5-11, 180, Wide Receiver, East Forsyth HS Highlights:www.hudl.com/profile/9684776/jamison-warren East Forsyth WR Jamison Warren commits to North Carolina A&T By Zack Adams, High School OT reporter
KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — East Forsyth rising senior wide receiver Jamison Warren made his commitment to North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NC A&T) on Sunday evening. Warren stands 5-foot-11 and weighs 175 pounds. He was able to have a breakout junior campaign in the midst of an injury-filled season for the Eagles, especially on offense. East Forsyth finished its 2019 season with an overall record of 13-2, while going 3-2 in Central Piedmont 4A Conference competition. That mark in league play was good enough for second in the standings behind rival West Forsyth. Five of the six CPC teams made the postseason last year. As a junior, Warren made 38 receptions for 884 yards and 10 touchdowns with an average of 58.9 yards per game and 23.3 yards every catch. He also carried the football 23 times for 247 yards and three scores.
