recently i got a letter in the mail from the a&t advancement operations department (whatever that is), thanking me for my previous donations while also soliciting additional donations. well, since the essence festival in new orleans got cancelled this summer due to covid-19, i was fortunate enough to have my advanced payments for hotel reservations and concert tickets "refunded" to me in full. as a result, i have a few extra dollars available that i didn't expect to have.
btw, the airlines pissed me off though, cuz they're the only ones who wouldn't refund my money, they only gave me "credits" to use for another flight at a later date. nonetheless, since i got the rest of my money back, i thought this might be a good time to donate a few more dollars to a&t.
well, like i said, i got this letter in the mail from a&t soliciting donations and it gave me the option of 3 different funds to donate to. the student emergency fund, the general scholarship fund, and the "aggie fund".
well, what da hail is the "aggie fund"? i've never heard of the "aggie fund". i did a search on a&t's main website as well as the athletics website and got "zero" hits. i also googled "aggie fund" and got "zero" hits.
i'm gonna make a donation regardless, but does anybody know what da heck is the "aggie fund"? maybe the letter had a typo or somethin', but i'm totally "baffled"...
