i luv the kid, don't get me wrong. but its good that he's keeping his eligibility cuz ain't no nba team gone sign a pg who doesn't have a consistent outside shot and can't make free throws, especially considering how far back the nba 3 point arc is. he'll need to fix those weaknesses before any nba team takes a chance on him as a free agent. i don't see him having a chance to get drafted...

Cast your net, see what comes in...and then continue to work on your game, come on back into the fold and win us a final MEAC MBB title next March.

As a junior who led the NCAA in a major category, this is EXACTLY what he should do. The NBA has an Undergraduate Advisory Committee with guidelines. Declaring unlocks more opportunities for feedback. www.ncaa.com/sites/default/files/public/files/NBA_UAC_Brochure%20(1).pdfBesides... it's good press for the A&T Men's Basketball program. It hurts nothing.

I actually think he can play in the NBA on a fast breaking up tempo team or as a substitute. It’s a man to man game. His outside shot and foul shooting were better his freshman year...I think. I hope he comes back but either way...Good luck Kam and thanks for the Club Corbett Showtime!
A critical question is the coaching situation. As HBCU jobs come open I am guessing Jones is getting calls...

Also it allows professional teams who dont know him (all of them), to at least now know his name and may even keep him in their peripherals next season.
Basically, it can't hurt him.

I haven't followed the new recruits closely, but who is Langley's next eligible and viable back up? Is it the NC State transfer?

It's a good move. We all know his limits, but it's still the right move because of everything already said. Kids do it all the time just to get their name out there prior to their senior season.
